I have been using generic Heartgard for years on my 2 Border Collies, and I can't believe people would spend so much more money on branded products. I have had absolutely no problem with this product, and will keep ordering it as long as it is available.
Reliable product
Petshed's Nuheart has been a reliable heart worm preventative which I've used for a number of years on all of my german shepherd dogs. Their yearly heartworm tests always come back negative. It's been very dependable and I don't worry about unknown adverse reactions occurring as some of the newer products on the market are showing up with. It's very cost effective too!

Great alternative and works great
Been using the generic version for years and has worked fine on our dogs, including one who used to have heartworms before we rescued him. The only faults with this generic version are that they are small (easy to drop & lose) and not as tasty as the regular heartgard. I have to combine with a piece of cheese or meat to get them to take it.
