It is so nice to find an alternative to the name brand that is well priced but equal to the original. They got creative and removed the chewable treat element of the product and kept the active chemical ingredients. My dogs eat them up just the same, and it makes me happy that we are saving money for other things. Thank you, Pet Shed!

I have been using this product now for over 6 years for both my Rottweiler and my mini-heeler, love it as for their checkups they are totally free from heart worms, plus the pricing is very affordable. My veterinarian tells me that this is a good product also! Both dogs readily eat the tablets without any hassle, they seem to really like the flavor!

I have 3 dogs. All three have been on Huheart heartworm all their lives. Never had a problem with the product. Its the same as Hartguard but much cheaper. I started using this on the advice of a friend who does rescue in Houston--she needed year-round protection but keeping 15 dogs at a time had proven so cost-prohibitive using Heartguard. She started ordering Nugard and recommended it to me. My old dog, whom I lost in 2009, was on it for 6 years in Florida--no problems at all. Now I have my two dogs on it--a shih tzu mix and a schnauzer mix--and both have been fine. Truly a great product at a great price.
