Revolution is a safe and simple way to protect your pet from a range of common parasites. It prevents heartworm disease while treating and controlling fleas (including flea eggs and larvae) and ear mites in both cats and dogs, hookworms, and roundworms in cats and sarcoptes mites in dogs. This effective medication is applied to the skin of your pet once a month.
How Revolution for Cats & Dogs works
After applying, Revolution is quickly absorbed into your pet’s bloodstream, skin, and hair, killing fleas, heartworm, and other parasites that can harm your pet. Revolution will then protect your pet for an entire month. As Revolution moves into your pet’s skin and hair, it goes straight to killing fleas, flea larvae, flea eggs, and other external parasites.

What is the proper administration of Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Revolution Flea Control is a once-a-month topical application for dogs and cats. Application is quick and easy and the product should only be applied to a dry animal. The product is waterproof, therefore, normal bathing, swimming, etc. can continue after two hours.
The correct tube size should be selected for each animal and individual tubes should not be shared between several animals. The cap on the tube should be pushed downwards onto the tube until a "click" is heard and then the cap should be removed. The hair at the base of the neck should be parted to skin level and the entire contents of the tube squeezed onto this area. Do not rub in the liquid.
The concentration of the active ingredient in the Revolution for Dog and Revolution for Cat products is different so the correct package should be used for the correct breed as noted on the package label.
The doses and pack sizes are as follows:
Revolution for Cats
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Cats up to 7.5kg - blue pack
Revolution for Dogs
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Very small dogs 2.6-5kg - purple pack
Small dogs 5-10kg - brown pack
Medium dogs 10-20kg - red pack
Large dogs 20-40kg - teal pack
For dogs larger than 40kg - use the appropriate combination of sizes.
What are the precautions when using Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Prior to the administration of Revolution, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. At the discretion of the veterinarian, infected dogs should be treated to remove adult heartworms. Revolution is not effective against adult D. immitis and, while the number of circulating microfilariae may decrease following treatment, Revolution is not effective for microfilariae clearance.
Hypersensitivity reactions have not been observed in dogs with patent heartworm infections administered three times the recommended dose of Revolution. Higher doses were not tested.

Excellent product
I have been administering this product to my cat his entire adult life ages 1-5. He is an indoor/outdoor West Virginia,USA cat and he has never had any recognizable problems with fleas nor worms. I don't apply the product monthly, but rather stretch it to 1.5 months in the peak flea summer time and rarely administer in the snowy winter months. Pet Shed offers this product in 6 month packaging at the best price on the web after considering shipping, and has always arrived in a timely manner, enclosed genuine pakaging, with a 1-2 year expiration date. I would highly recommend this product to all cat owners.

Revolution for Cats and Dogs
I have three cats and one dog and since using Revolution, I have never seen a flea on any of my pets! Pet Shed's prices area the cheapest and you can't get more convenient than having it mailed to your door. I would recommend Revolution and Pet Shed to everyone and as a matter of fact, my daughter is now using Pet Shed for her animal supplies!

It works!
I use Revolution monthly on my three cats Scout, Cory, and Maisie. It works! They go outside on a leash and love to sit in the sun. My experience with Revolution has proven that it does not allow fleas or ticks to attack them. They don't even scratch! Did I mention how happy I am to find that it works?!
Great Product
Product seems to work well with both of my cats. I have one that is particularly prone to fleas; he has had a much easier summer season even with the typical moisture/ rainfall. No ticks on either cat, and the heart-worm protection is very welcome. Recommended

This is the best flea control product I have ever used on my babies. Why do I feel like revolution is the best? Simple, it works! I've tried other products that claim to do the same and was woefully disappointed at the results each time, (what a waste of money! And talk about the aggravation!!) I have six wonderful cats that hate fleas as much as I do, and we are all glad at the ease in which we can order it, get it shipped, and receive this product, and others :) through PetShed! Revolution product
Revolution is one of the better products for indoor cats. I have tried Frontline which is good but the smell of the product is pretty strong and my cats run the minute I frontline one of them so I changed to Revolution as there is little smell and I like the fact that it can take care of many type of worms cats can get from fleas or flies that get into your house and also ear mites as house cats can get these things as we bring it into our house on our shoes or feet. The only drawback is if your cat goes outdoors as it does not protect against ticks.
Access to Revolution
I have been using Revolution for 20 years on my cats. It works. You can't get it without a prescription in the US. So haven't used it lately. I used Front line or Advatage, after we moved they didn't work any more. I finally found PetShed and ordered it. This stuff really works!!! I have passed on the web site to all my family. It just works where others don't.
