I have a German Shepherd and a Pomeraineon. I have been getting their flea & tick preventer and heartworm meds from Pet Shed for the last 7 or 8 years. The shipping time is excellent and the prices unbeatable.

I saw on the home page that there was a coupon for $5 off if you sign up for the newsletter. then i thought through the fact that i didn't actually want to get the newsletter, so I would have to subscribe, get my coupon, then unsubscribe. quickly decided i really didn't care enough about the $5 to do all of that. so then when i was checking out i specifically unmarked the box asking if i wanted to sign up for the newsletter. just checked my email and along with my order confirmation there is another email thanking me for subscribing and giving me a $5 off coupon for a future order.. >.< so now i have to unsubscribe and don't even get the benefit of using the coupon on the order i just placed. if i had known i was going to be subscribed despite unchecking the box, i would have just done it from the beginning and taken advantage of the $5. It wasn't that big of a deal, more of a pet peeve, but it annoyed me enough to want to write this. On a side note, i love that there is Paypal as a checkout option, so I didn't have to get my credit card out.

I read some recent reviews claiming Petshed was sold and now products were made in China (or even India) insinuating adulterated or contaminated products. I care first about the safety and health of my dog. I emailed to company before my next purchase to ask about ownership. They say the company was never sold (still based in Sydney, Australia) and all products are registed with the APVMA, the Austlian government body that regulates pet mediations. Their medications (ie flea/tick and heartworm) contain ingredients that come out of the same FDA/EPA approved factories as the pet meds we purchase locally in the US. I was reassured. I have been ordering from them for several years and will continue to do so. Never have had an issue with delivery of products. Just placed another order and international charge on my VISA was only $0.38. Totally worth it - price, quality, delivery straight to my front door.

I stumbled across Pet Shed about 5 years ago, and have been coming back ever since. Not only do they carry a wide variety of products, their prices are VERY reasonable. They also offer Generic versions of the majority of their medications, which is another feather in their cap in these hard economic times. In addition to the great prices and variety that they offer, the quality of their products, customer service, and shipping are excellent as well. My orders have always been processed promptly, shipped quickly, and arrived in perfect condition. The few times that I have contacted their Customer Service with questions, they have always been extremely helpful. for these reasons, I have referred numerous friends and family members to Pet Shed.
