I have two dobermans and because of their weight I know I have to pay more for their meds. I purchase "Revolution" for dogs. Sometimes they have the generic which I find to be just as good as "Revolution" which gives me even more savings. Thank God I have "Pet Shed" to give me the best possible price and quality with my fixed income it is a life saver for my sweet fur babies. Fed up with the jacked up prices at vets and pet stores in the US, I ordered generic heartgard for my 4 dogs. The package arrived quickly and judging by the expiration dates, the product was very fresh. Of course, the only way the effectiveness can be judged is whether or not it does end up preventing heartworms, but I have no reason to think it won't work well. Living in Florida, I've seen quite a few tragic heartworm cases, a lot of which I attribute the prohibitive cost of prevention. With the prices charged by Petshed there's really no excuse not to keep your dogs protected.
