I am a college student, so I don't have tons of money to be spending on my dog's heard guard. I also did not want to sacrifice the quality of her brand name medicine she had been taking for something cheap that would not work. Well, I have saved TONS of money by using this generic heart guard and still provide my dog with high quality medicine! This stuff works - so save your money and try it!

I have been using this product for 5+/- years now. I wanted to get my animals started on heart worm prevention but at the time I wouldn't afford much and was told about this site and this product. I was wary since it is a generic of something, but the person told me she had been using it for years with no problem. Now I feel the same way. I think it is a really great product no matter the size of the dog. The only two things I have to say that isn't positive about this product is that if you have multiple dogs and they don't all take the heartgard on the same day or you don't have a standard calendar the stickers don't help much. They need ones with a line on them so you can write the pets name on it at least. Also my pets will never chew these I have to make them swallow them, but this is something common between ALL brands not just this one.

I recently purchased the generic Heartworm medicine for my 3 dogs. I checked with my vet and because it contains the same ingedient as the name brand it will work as effectively.

This product is a lifesaver and in more ways than one! Our rescue took in a lab mix that had escaped Hurricaine Katrina, Researh lab, and an animal shelter. She was on her way back to the shelter when we got her. A woman steped up to foster her and ended up keeping her on the conditions that we would pay for her fist years worth of heartworm prevention since she was going through some finacial issues and could not afford it at this time. We aggreed and found your website! It has made all the difference in the world. We were able to afford to buy the heartworm prevention for her and save A LOT of money! That money can be used to help other dogs in her situation get a better chance at life! I have always used heartgard for my dogs. I know have 3 big dogs and it gets pricy. I decided to use the generic after doing tons of research on it. It's the same medicine as Heartgard. Just like generics for humans, same product, just not paying for the name. I will continue to buy the generic version. Alot less money, same protection.

I have used your product for almost 8 years. I have 2 dogs: Toy Fox Terrier and a Rat Terrier.
