cat skin problem - Very strange, but every winter right above my cats tail on back her hair falls out. The vet gives her a shot of cortizone($100). Last winter it didnt work. Now her skin is full of little bumps. I feel like pulling them off, but they are not like that.I sprayed cortizone and it sort of helped. Any idea about the bumps and with the winter hair loss? Winter is coming and I know it will hapeen. I thought she may be allergic to our heat. The skin bumps are really worrying me.A few times there was blood and I could tell she was in a fight. The bunps are around her neck also EVERYWHERE! 1 Answer
Answer Your cat sounds like she doesn't like the cold much and we don't blame her! While we would love to be able to help, it is your vet who will be able to provide the best advice. Answer Virbac has a range of soothing shampoos, conditioners and leave-on lotions that may help alleviate the itchiness. If it is an allergy then the dog food may be the culprit so try a low allergenic food.
