Virbac Preventive 2 Month Tick Collar For Dogs
The Preventic Tick Collar for Dogs is manufactured by Virbac (Australia) Pty Ltd.
It is an easy to use product which helps control ticks, including the paralysis tick, for up to 8 weeks.
The collar slowly releases the active ingredient which migrates over the dog's entire body. The powder released is insoluble in water and has a high affinity for hair and skin.
How to use the product
This product can be used on healthy non-lactating dogs over the age of 16 weeks.
The collar should be placed around the dog's neck and fit such that 2 or 3 fingers can easily be placed between the animal's neck and the collar. If the collar is fitted too tightly irritation may occur. Any excess length of collar should be removed and disposed of to prevent the animal from chewing on it. Owners should wash their hands after handling the collar.
The collar should be replaced every 8 weeks for continual coverage.
The collar should be removed immediately if local irritation is noted.
Daily tick searches are still recommended for maximal tick protection during tick season.

One size is available, a 60cm collar.
Active ingredients
The active ingredient in this product is Amitraz at a concentration of 90g/kg. Amitraz is a neurotoxin which works by affecting the central nervous system of the tick.
Contraindications and warnings
Do not administer to sick or convalescing animals.
Do not use on puppies under the age of 16 weeks.
Not to be used on lactating bitches.
Do not allow animals to chew the collar.
Do not allow children to handle the collar.
Wash hands after applying the collar and dispose of excess collar length immediately.
Do not use this product in any manner contrary to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Seek prompt veterinary or medical attention if poisoning occurs or contact The Poisons Information Centre.

Amazing results
I've been using this tick collar on my dogs for 4months now and I'm very happy with the results. Definitely no ticks at all. It really works!! And it rocks!
Preventive to snap on
Ticks are hard to prevent. Like seriously, they're everywhere! Preventing ticks might mean also no fun outdoor for my pets. And I don't like that. That's why Preventic Tick Collar is a blessing to all of us. Got these collars and just snap it on and guaranteed no ticks for my dogs. Even if they love to play outside.
Easy to administer
I love to use this. Very easy to administer. And your dog doesn't know it's a medicine. Good to use.
Great stuff to buy
Very affordable yet very effective!! It is good for two months so no more monthly dosage. And literally no ticks at all. Just don't forget to remove it when your dogs are about to sleep at night so they can rest from the formula of the collar. Just snap it back in the morning or whenever they'll go outside.
The two dogs love it
MY two dogs, Jella and Bella both love this one. They're free to play outside without the worries of ticks. It's a great preventive on a great price too. What more can I ask for.

One of the most effective preventives I know. It really works. My husband and I love camping an we always want to take our dog with us but we're hesitant because he'll be prone to ticks. When I started using Preventic and take our dog along with us, surprisingly when we came back from a trip, there were no ticks. Really 0%. I'm loving this one.
Tick Collar
My dogs love it. No foul smell or whatsoever. And since it's a collar, he can't lick this treatment. He used to lick the topical treatments I apply to him before. This is a good one.
