Revolution is a safe and simple way to protect your pet from a range of common parasites. It prevents heartworm disease while treating and controlling fleas (including flea eggs and larvae) and ear mites in both cats and dogs, hookworms, and roundworms in cats and sarcoptes mites in dogs. This effective medication is applied to the skin of your pet once a month.
How Revolution for Cats & Dogs works
After applying, Revolution is quickly absorbed into your pet’s bloodstream, skin, and hair, killing fleas, heartworm, and other parasites that can harm your pet. Revolution will then protect your pet for an entire month. As Revolution moves into your pet’s skin and hair, it goes straight to killing fleas, flea larvae, flea eggs, and other external parasites.

What is the proper administration of Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Revolution Flea Control is a once-a-month topical application for dogs and cats. Application is quick and easy and the product should only be applied to a dry animal. The product is waterproof, therefore, normal bathing, swimming, etc. can continue after two hours.
The correct tube size should be selected for each animal and individual tubes should not be shared between several animals. The cap on the tube should be pushed downwards onto the tube until a "click" is heard and then the cap should be removed. The hair at the base of the neck should be parted to skin level and the entire contents of the tube squeezed onto this area. Do not rub in the liquid.
The concentration of the active ingredient in the Revolution for Dog and Revolution for Cat products is different so the correct package should be used for the correct breed as noted on the package label.
The doses and pack sizes are as follows:
Revolution for Cats
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Cats up to 7.5kg - blue pack
Revolution for Dogs
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Very small dogs 2.6-5kg - purple pack
Small dogs 5-10kg - brown pack
Medium dogs 10-20kg - red pack
Large dogs 20-40kg - teal pack
For dogs larger than 40kg - use the appropriate combination of sizes.
What are the precautions when using Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Prior to the administration of Revolution, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. At the discretion of the veterinarian, infected dogs should be treated to remove adult heartworms. Revolution is not effective against adult D. immitis and, while the number of circulating microfilariae may decrease following treatment, Revolution is not effective for microfilariae clearance.
Hypersensitivity reactions have not been observed in dogs with patent heartworm infections administered three times the recommended dose of Revolution. Higher doses were not tested.

Dogs, Cats, Goats..Revolution cured our Parasite Problem
I have NEVER seen a better flea/tick/mite control in my life. I have 6 cats and 2 dogs and we live in the country where fleas, ticks, mosquitos and mites abound. One dose of Revolution for each of our animals keeps them clear of parasites for up to 2 months at a time. None of our pets have suffered any ill effects from Revolution, and our home is parasite-free. We also have a small herd of goats. When ear mites become a problem, I dose the goat with a large-dog application of Revolution, and the mites (and any ticks) disappear almost immediately. I would recommend this product to anyone, any time. PS: Pet Shed always gets my orders to me quickly. I wouldn't dream of using any other company to treat my beloved pets. Thank you, Pet Shed!
Revolution is GREAT!
I love using the Revolution for my cats - it really provides the best protection agains fleas, ticks and worms. One of my cats stays outdoors, and it has helped keep him in tip top condition - especially for being outside for 9 years. Outdoor cats usually do not live as long as indoor. I credit Revolution to being a part of the shield that has protected him so far. I will continue to use it, and highly recommend it.
Revolution Works
I have used Revolution on my Cats for years! One little tube and covers all your needs from ear mites to heart worms, fleas, worms and it just goes on. It helps keep my cats healthy and safe as I live in a climate where there are plenty of mosquitoes. I don't have to worry about them and and get good service from Pet Shed.

I've been using Revolution on my 3 cats for years, 2 go out for an hr or 2 a day and the other one stays out most of the time (he refuses to come in unless I insist mostly at nite). I did not have very good success with Frontline & advantage but Revolution is excellent! Gets rid of the fleas in all stages! It really works and has been far more effective than any other product. Highly recommend!
Revolution for cats
Revolution for cats is the only product that you will need to keep your cat free of fleas, ticks and worms. We have used this product for a number of years in Florida in the United States, a state know for fleas and ticks.
Great product!
Revolution is a great way to take care of heart worm and flea prevention in one product. We have used this product for 5 years on both dogs and cats, and it has never let us down. It is significantly cheaper from Pet Shed than from the vet's office. Has a strong chemical odor when opened, but it disappears when dry.
Revolution for cats
I love this product! Stray cats have a tendency to get dropped off at my door and I take care of them.Fleas are always a problem! I have used other flea products in the past,including an over the counter shampoo that was the cause of one cats death.Revolution works the best for my household of cats.I like the fact that it also works for other things like ear mites as well.So I feel its a package deal and on top of that.....It really works!

Excellent Product and easy to use
We really like to use Revolution for our four cats it is very easy to apply and works very well to protect them. We have been using it for about six years now and have not had any problems with fleas or mosquito bites. We like it better than the other topical treatments since it prevents mosquito bites and heart worm's and since we don't need to buy other treatments just to prevent flea and tick bites.
