Revolution is a safe and simple way to protect your pet from a range of common parasites. It prevents heartworm disease while treating and controlling fleas (including flea eggs and larvae) and ear mites in both cats and dogs, hookworms, and roundworms in cats and sarcoptes mites in dogs. This effective medication is applied to the skin of your pet once a month.
How Revolution for Cats & Dogs works
After applying, Revolution is quickly absorbed into your pet’s bloodstream, skin, and hair, killing fleas, heartworm, and other parasites that can harm your pet. Revolution will then protect your pet for an entire month. As Revolution moves into your pet’s skin and hair, it goes straight to killing fleas, flea larvae, flea eggs, and other external parasites.

What is the proper administration of Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Revolution Flea Control is a once-a-month topical application for dogs and cats. Application is quick and easy and the product should only be applied to a dry animal. The product is waterproof, therefore, normal bathing, swimming, etc. can continue after two hours.
The correct tube size should be selected for each animal and individual tubes should not be shared between several animals. The cap on the tube should be pushed downwards onto the tube until a "click" is heard and then the cap should be removed. The hair at the base of the neck should be parted to skin level and the entire contents of the tube squeezed onto this area. Do not rub in the liquid.
The concentration of the active ingredient in the Revolution for Dog and Revolution for Cat products is different so the correct package should be used for the correct breed as noted on the package label.
The doses and pack sizes are as follows:
Revolution for Cats
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Cats up to 7.5kg - blue pack
Revolution for Dogs
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Very small dogs 2.6-5kg - purple pack
Small dogs 5-10kg - brown pack
Medium dogs 10-20kg - red pack
Large dogs 20-40kg - teal pack
For dogs larger than 40kg - use the appropriate combination of sizes.
What are the precautions when using Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Prior to the administration of Revolution, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. At the discretion of the veterinarian, infected dogs should be treated to remove adult heartworms. Revolution is not effective against adult D. immitis and, while the number of circulating microfilariae may decrease following treatment, Revolution is not effective for microfilariae clearance.
Hypersensitivity reactions have not been observed in dogs with patent heartworm infections administered three times the recommended dose of Revolution. Higher doses were not tested.

Fleas and heartworm
I like a single medication that can prevent fleas and heartworms instead of giving 2 separate ones.

This is a great product. It kills every parasite that would even try to bother my cat. Best medication out there without a doubt. I just put it on her and shes worry free til next month.

After having tried all the major and lesser known brands, I heard about Revolution from a dog hunting blog. I figured it was out of the States but after looking at what was in it, I saw it had more than the US brands. I bought a pack (AU one) and noticed within days that the dogs had stopped scratching and the ticks we found were dead and easy to pull off. After using this product for 6 months, I have yet seen a flea and the rare tick is dead. No other product I had gotten has worked this well. Going on 3 years now and order for a medium dog and two large dogs plus even tried the cat ones as well. I have outside cats and they also, have been flea free...
Great product for cats
We have been buying this product for years and have never had a problem with ticks or fleas on our cats. We live close to a lake and our cats go outside so the extra protection against heart worms is a must.

Revolution works
I have been using PetShed for quite a few years to order my Revolution for my dogs. PetShed always sends it out and I get it right on time for my next application date. The product is great! No fleas or ticks ever! Not to mention, most importantly, my dogs heartworm test is negative every year! Best pricing for the best product! Gotta love it!
Tried everything to get rid of ear mites.
My 7 year old cat kept getting ear mites off and on for 2 years. I tried every remedy out there, but they kept coming back. Finally a cat lover friend of mine suggested revolution. I found this website which offered revolution at a discount price. It worked! I will use revolution in the future if the ear mites return.
Revolution for Dogs
I have 3 12 pound dogs (Norwich Terriers). I have been using Revolution for years. I've ordered from Pet Shed for years and have referred a lot of other people. I'm in the USA and it takes about 4 weeks to get package. Other than the time it takes to receive, I have good service from Pet Shed.

Have ordered Revolution for about 10 years from Pet Shed. Always pleased. My vet here agreed that she could not match the price and after reviewing packaging said that I should continue with them. I have one cat with allergies that is on a 3-week dosage, so the cost savings adds up more.
Dermatitis
