Bravecto Chewable for Dogs

Bravecto is the first oral chew to provide up to 12 weeks of protection against fleas and ticks. One chew provides broad-spectrum and long-lasting protection that starts to kill fleas within 2 hours and controls 4 tick species (black-legged tick, American dog tick, brown dog tick, and lone star tick). Bravecto eliminates current flea infestations and prevents new ones from developing for 12 weeks. With one chew, Bravecto is easier to give and less to worry about for you!

How Bravecto Chewable for Dogs works

After giving your dog Bravecto, the medication quickly reaches tissue fluids under your dog's skin. When fleas and ticks feed on your dog, they ingest Bravecto and die. Bravecto kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis), and the treatment and control of tick infestations [Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick)] for 12 weeks in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater. Bravecto is also indicated for the treatment and control of Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick) infestations for 8 weeks in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater.

Finally something that works
Written by Sarah in SC
Oct 25, 2016

I have 5 dogs in hot, humid SC and have tried and failed with so many flea products. I thought I'd give this a try after reading more about it. I bought treatment for 2 of the 5 dogs and continued the topical for the rest. A huge difference immediately in scratching and no visible parasites within hours. Will definitely be getting for all of the them from now on. So relieved that it works!

Neither one of my dogs liked these and would not chew them, had to breakup and self administer - to early to tell if working.

Good Alternative to Frontline

Con: The website is not exactly transparent as to where they are located. After looking around, I found this is an Australian company, however my payment was processed in Singapore and my credit card charged an international transaction fee. None of this is stated up front on the site. Pro: The price! You can't beat it for 3 months of protection. Shipping was reasonable, within 10 days. This is an excellent alternative to Frontline and came with a good expiration date. I'll be back.

Fleas are a major issue where I live, and combating them is a daily challenge-- usually. But...I've been using this on my dogs for almost a year now, and it's really made a huge difference, especially as one of our pups has flea allergies. We've never had a problem with it making any of our pups ill, and it's kept us from having a flea infestation. I love this product.

This flea season in the south has been horrible and hard to fight. One of my pets are very allergic and nothing has been working. It has been a nightmare. Researched Bravecto and used PetShed before with great results. Within hours after administering Bravecto, fleas were falling off my two small dogs. And by the next morning, I could not find one flea. My dogs have been happy and content, something I haven't seen in a month. Thank you PetShed for great prices and service!

My ShihTzu, Jumper, hates taking meds and the Comfortis had quit working... his Vet suggested switching to Bravecto... at $65 a tablet. I heard about PetShed and ordered it here. Not only did he take it voluntarily as a "treat" *shock and relief* but he also has shown none of the lethargy, loss of appetite that would follow his dose of Comfortis. I am beyond happy... no fleas and my baby boy is once again happy to take his medication! Thank you Bravecto and thank you PetShed for making it affordable! Susan & Jumper

This tablet worked wonders! My cocker spaniel got fleas and I was having the hardest time getting rid of them. We tried topical solutions, i tried Capstar multiple times (it normally does the trick with one time use....but I must've tried it at least three times and we could not get rid of the fleas!) I spent almost 5 months trying to get rid of the fleas...finally Bravecto did the trick!! Within minutes, I started seeing a couple fleas come out of Duncan's coat, his back, his legs, even his little forehead...it's been about two weeks and I have not seen not one flea!! I HIGHLY recommend this product!!! It is sooo worth the price!!
