Revolution is a safe and simple way to protect your pet from a range of common parasites. It prevents heartworm disease while treating and controlling fleas (including flea eggs and larvae) and ear mites in both cats and dogs, hookworms, and roundworms in cats and sarcoptes mites in dogs. This effective medication is applied to the skin of your pet once a month.
How Revolution for Cats & Dogs works
After applying, Revolution is quickly absorbed into your pet’s bloodstream, skin, and hair, killing fleas, heartworm, and other parasites that can harm your pet. Revolution will then protect your pet for an entire month. As Revolution moves into your pet’s skin and hair, it goes straight to killing fleas, flea larvae, flea eggs, and other external parasites.

What is the proper administration of Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Revolution Flea Control is a once-a-month topical application for dogs and cats. Application is quick and easy and the product should only be applied to a dry animal. The product is waterproof, therefore, normal bathing, swimming, etc. can continue after two hours.
The correct tube size should be selected for each animal and individual tubes should not be shared between several animals. The cap on the tube should be pushed downwards onto the tube until a "click" is heard and then the cap should be removed. The hair at the base of the neck should be parted to skin level and the entire contents of the tube squeezed onto this area. Do not rub in the liquid.
The concentration of the active ingredient in the Revolution for Dog and Revolution for Cat products is different so the correct package should be used for the correct breed as noted on the package label.
The doses and pack sizes are as follows:
Revolution for Cats
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Cats up to 7.5kg - blue pack
Revolution for Dogs
Puppies and kittens up to 2.5kg - pink pack
Very small dogs 2.6-5kg - purple pack
Small dogs 5-10kg - brown pack
Medium dogs 10-20kg - red pack
Large dogs 20-40kg - teal pack
For dogs larger than 40kg - use the appropriate combination of sizes.
What are the precautions when using Revolution for Cats & Dogs?
Prior to the administration of Revolution, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. At the discretion of the veterinarian, infected dogs should be treated to remove adult heartworms. Revolution is not effective against adult D. immitis and, while the number of circulating microfilariae may decrease following treatment, Revolution is not effective for microfilariae clearance.
Hypersensitivity reactions have not been observed in dogs with patent heartworm infections administered three times the recommended dose of Revolution. Higher doses were not tested.

Revolution for Cats
We have tried everything for our three cats. We have one cat who is severely allergic to fleas which we discovered when we took him to the vet because he was looking so bad. The doc gave us Revolution. I have tried every brand & while some seem to work for a little while or for one cat but not the other, Revolution is the only one that works for all our cats. This is important since even if the fleas aren't on the cat that is severely allergic, they can jump off of the others onto him so they all need to be flea-free. Pet Shed has the best prices. I paid twice as much at the Vet. Shipping can take a while so order about a month in advance.

i have been using revolution and i have all the dogs i know on this and it is the best it takes care of alot of things so i can worry about other things lol i love this product it really is the best thanks to pet shed i can get it for myself and about 50 other people love it #1 this is all a baby needs dog or cats thanks

Revolution
I have used Revolution since 2008 on my 4 cats and 1 dog. This is a great product with no problems with any order. I always get what I order with a little longer shipping but well worth the wait. Thank you (Joe's Pet Meds) now ordering from Pet Shed.
Great product!
I switched to Revolution a few years ago as the product I previously used seemed to be losing it's effectiveness. I have never regretted making this choice. Fleas are no longer a problem in our multi-pet household and I like not having to do a separate heartworm treatment. MY most recent wellness checks at the vet show no signs of heartworms. I highly recommend this product.

We've been using this for a year now on our 2 house cats and it's been a superior product to anything we've used in the past.
Flea Free
My dog is almost 6 years old. When he was about 1 year old I had a friend recommend Revolution to me. I have been using it every since then. Me dog and house have been flea free every since. However I have found a few ticks on my dog. I don't think the ticks protection is as good as the flea protection.

Ex cellent product at an excellent cost
I have used PETSHED for years and this product for about 1 1/2 years. No fleas or ticks! No only do I not have to worry about those, I am also protecting them from heartworm. I have two dogs also so it is just best to totally protect the cats also. AND...yes, the product from PETSHED is still about 20 US dollars cheaper than US companies. Just double checked again today and back I come to PETSHED! As an aside, when I first began using PETSHED I didn't pay attention to the fact that it was an Australian company until I received the package, then when my address contained "USA", I figured it out.
