This product is cheaper than other medicines and it protects heartworms! That is the main reason I bought it because generic heartguard is much cheaper and just as good as name brand preventatives and it really saves money! My dogs have been on it for two years and have never had an adverse reaction or heartworms!! I love it!!!

I live in sunny FLA where the mosquitoes populations grow huge! I have been using Petshed products since 2003 and saw many changes in their products. I started with Revolution (price was superior to no other) and since getting a new puppy back in July 2007, I've started using the generic heartworm treatment. I have been purchasing this product fronm Pet Shed for a couple of years now for my beloved Boston Terrier.
