I am not a fan of buying generic, but I must say PETSHEDs Generic Heartgard is the BEST!!! Its not often you can find a Generic pet product that actually work, but I must say this stuff is awesome..My pet have never tested positive for heartworms since ive been using this product..The Vet think that im still using the expensive heartgaurd and explain to me that if i stop using the regular heartgaurd its a very good chance that he would test positive for worms...needless to say ive been using this for three years and no problems

Dear PetShed, Thanks for allowing me to keep my dogs healthy without breaking the bank. I know that the amount of active ingredient in the heartworm prevention tablets is very small, yet the vet insists I pay outrageous amounts for the name brand product. Your generic version contains exactly the same ingredient, yet costs me much less while delivering the preventative in a small pill that is easy to administer to my dogs. I am very happy to be your customer, and send my thanks for offering an alternative to high-priced name brand products.
