Our pups have been on the NuHeart monthly heartworm treatment since we've had them--6.5 years and 4 years--and neither pup has ever tested positive for heartworms (and we live in an area where heartworms are a definite possibility). I originally ordered from PetShed because no prescription is needed (and my Vet at the time was being a jerk about giving a prescription), but I quickly began ordering because of the prices! I WILL NOT pay the Vet's prices for these medications! They are great quality products and an even better price.
