Zymox Otic with Hydrocortisone is the treatment solution for acute and chronic otitis externa due to various infections. The factors that predispose the ear to otitis externa are excessive skill folds in ear, floppy ear carriage, suppressed immune system, systemic antibiotics, among others. To help fight off otitis externa, the Zymox contains hydrocortisone, which aids in the treatment of allergies and inflammation. It also has two other powerful substances: lactoferrin, an antimicrobial protein, and lysosome, an enzyme that kills viruses or bacteria.

The Zymox Otic with Hydrocortisone is not to be used in conjunction with other topical ear medications or cleaners.

Zymox Otic with Hydrocortizone

I have a Border Collie and she has cronic ear infections. Used prescriptions over the years but infections reoccured. About 7 months ago tried Zymox as directed on package in both ears - cleared up existing infection. Since then I use Zymox once a week in both ears and she has not had another infection since. Works great - would definitely recommend.

My floppy eared dogs are continually getting ear infections. They swim daily, and it is difficult to dry their ears out completely. It is great to have a product that works so well available for my dogs.

This is the most effective and fastest treatment for ear problems. My dog stopped itching within two days. Much better than any medication from the vet. Always order my pet supplies from Pet Shed, not worth shopping around, they are the best on the web!

I have a 7 yr. old female yellow lab, her name is Angel. Since I have no kids, she is my little girl. Poor Angel also has diabetes and requires 2 shots of insulin a day. She has had a problem with her ears for quite some time now. I had her to the vet. and the drops he gave me didn't do that great. Now this ZYMOX octic enzymatic soution is FANTASTIC!! She was driving herself batty, shaking her head so much, but since using this ZYMOX, she is doing great! No more shaking and digging in her ears, which used to bleed from all the scratching. The stuff works really fast too, I saw results in a day.
