I cannot attest to the efficacy of the generic heart-plus other than all three dogs are fine after one year of using this product from Pet Shed. The Vet warned me that by buying from sources such as this I will have no recourse in case the dogs have to be treated for heart worms. In other words by paying twice as much I might get the right to sue the pharmaceutical company and prove that I administered the medicine correctly. I am saving $ 250.00 per year for my three dogs and so far everyone is happy... Stay vigilant Pet Shed and you will have a customer for life or as long as I am blessed to take care of these wonderful creatures.

Bought a year supply, these are smaller chewable tables that I added to my dogs treats. No adverse side affects, and my dogs are worm free according to my Vet, so I highly recommend this product.

Perfect - finally a pill I do not have to disguise in cheese for my dog.

My 10 year old pit bull is an incredibly picky eater and she loves these! I have 3 dogs of my own and one foster that all are on this medicine and we haven't had any heart worm or intestinal parasite issues. Great product!

Our old dog had a mild case of heartworms even tho a previous vet was 'medicating' him monthly. We changed vets and Dr. Ponce recommended Heartguard as a Slow Kill since our old fella has some liver and kidney concerns. After 1 year of the Heartguard, he's HEARTWORM NEGATIVE without any harsh treatment.
We will ONLY use Heartguard from now on!
