Our little doxyhound loves the chewable Heartgard. Another online vet medicine outfit sent us pills instead once and she hated it. Must work since she always gets A++ grades from her vet and she's 9 years old. We live in skeeter country, Alabama, and she's never had heartworm. A word about Pet Shed: Great service, fast shipping even though its from half way around the world! I highly recommend both the medication and the seller.

One of my dogs was HW+ when I adopted him from a Rescue Org...I didn't feel confident about doing the "silent treatment" so instead we opted too keep him on HW meds. After 3 years of his HW coming back lower and lower, I finally got the great news this past February - he is HW NEGATIVE! There have been studies about how effective the heartguard is to actually TREAT HW and we are proof.

I live in Florida and mosquitos get worse in my area during the summer. So I need to protect my dog Fred against heart worms. Heartgard chews are so easy since my dog thinks he's getting a treat and he gets his medicine at the same time. Great product, especially if you have a finicky pet that you have problems giving meds.

My vet only sold tablets and I had to force feed my smallest dog. She hates medicine. These beef favored bit size heartworm preventers make it so much easier on both of us. Being able to buy from Pet Shed is also a blessing. I give my 4 dogs their preventer every month so I'm sure they don't have heartworms. But now my vet won't administer heartworm preventer unless I have them checked for heartworms each year. Which leaves them vulnerable to the disease. It gets expensive when their yearly's come around as it is with flea medicine, heartworm preventer and the office visit. Having an addition test ran only makes it worse. Being able to order form Pet Shed has saved my 4 legged kids life. Thank you Heartgard & Pet Shed.

I recently discovered pet shed while searching for the best prices possible for heartgard plus for our lab..she unfortunately was off of heartworm medication for a while, beacuse of financal reasons.I knew she needed the protection/prevention, so I found pet shed and got the best deal on a year supply of heartgard plus..this website rocks, and is the #1 place to find medication for your animals..I will continue to use pet shed in the future, and recommend it to all I know..
Our lab Brook takes the tablet each month like it is a treat, which makes giving it to her so easy.

We've been using heartguard for years, and our pooch loves the taste. My vet recommends it for prevention, and he's never had heartworm, so it seems to work just fine. We use it once a month as a special treat.
