Drontal is indicated for the control of all gastrointestinal worms in dogs including roundworm (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylstoma braziliense, Ancylostoma ceylanicum and Uncinaria stenocephala), whipworm (Trichuris vulpis), and tapeworm (Echinococcus granulosus, Diplylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Taenia ovis, Taenia piriformis, and Taenia hydatigena). In addition, it controls the shedding of oocytes of the protozoal parasite, Giardia sp.

How Drontal Allwormer for Dogs works
Drontal starts working as soon as it is ingested. Worms, if present, may or may not appear in the droppings for up to 48 hours after treatment.
How can you properly administer Drontal Allwormer for Dogs?
Drontal is administered orally. The frequency of administration is dependent on the age of the puppy and what other parasite prevention products the puppy or dog is receiving. This is due to the fact that many products may already control several of the gastrointestinal worms that dogs can be affected by.
As a general rule puppies should be wormed at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks of age and then every month until they are 6 months of age. After this they are wormed every 3 months or as advised by a veterinarian. In areas where hydatid tapeworm is a problem dogs should be wormed every 6 weeks. Local veterinary advice should be sought on this matter. For the treatment of Giardia sp. Drontal needs to be given for 3 consecutive days and repeated as per veterinary advice.
Is Drontal Allwormer safe for all dogs?
Drontal is safe to use in all dogs including old dogs, young pups, working dogs, and greyhounds as well as pregnant and lactating bitches. Drontal should be given to bitches prior to mating, to pregnant bitches sometime in the last 10 days before whelping and again 2 and 4 weeks after whelping.

I buy my Drontal for my pomeranians and pomkies from Pet Shed. My vet charges $11. a pill. If I get them anywhere else, by mail, I have to have a vet prescribe them. So, I get them from Pet Shed, cheaper and still keep my dogs worm free. Thank you, Pet Shed!
Perfect Dewormer
Hard to find products that can be tolerated by our Mini Schnauzer that has a hard time with just about everything! Pet Shed pricing is also much lower than other places I used to shop...
Please reconsider
I am one of those people who had to find out the hard way. Using products like these are no good for our animals, period. I have lost to many using chemical treatments & pharmaceuticals. If you want to use something for worms/parasites then please consider using food grade Diatomacious Earth. It does the EXACT same thing. It's inexpensive, all natural & gets the job done just the same but w/ no awful side effects or death. Do the research. There is no need to give these sort of things to our pets or even people for that matter. Nature will heal you if you allow it (btw people can use food grade DE as well, works wonders & IS GOOD FOR YOU).

Make quick work of worms
My family rescued a stray who had worms and unfortunately our other two dogs also got them. I ordered Drontal Allwormer for Dogs and treated all three dogs. Usually one of my dogs will wise up to the fact I'm trying to give them flavored medicine but not with Drontal. All three dogs took the treatment without it having to be hidden or masked by peanut butter or anything else. Not having to take additional steps in administering a medicine is a huge help especially when taking care of three dogs. Drontal also works quickly. The worms were gone immediately and of course I began taking them to a fresh area to ensure they didn't get re-infected. If they ever do get re-infected, I'll be reordering Drontal Allwormer for Dogs to take care of it.
