The shampoo may be used on dogs, cats and horses. Spherulites provide a slow release of the ingredients to prolong the effect of the medication and chitosanide assists in restoring the hydration of the skin and hair and helps protect the skin against damage from the environment. Anti-adhesive glycotechnology reduces bacterial and yeast adhesion to the skin surface to delay the onset of irritation due to topical micro-organisms. Product ContainsActive ingredients: Chlorhexidine gluconate, ketoconazole. Also contains: spherulites, chitosanide Dosage and AdministrationShake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather. Massage shampoo into wet hair coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow to remain on hair for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. May be used initially 2 to 3 times a week for four weeks, then reducing to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian. Warnings, Side Effects and Drug InteractionsFor animal use only. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Not for use in ears. If undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
