Product Uses

CortiCalm Lotion is a rapidly penetrating topical medication for the treatment of inflammatory and itchy skin disorders, such as allergic, contact or acute moist dermatitis (hot spots). CortiCalm Lotion provides enhanced coat manageability, as well as reducing itching and further trauma due to habitual scratching and biting. containing The lotion vehicle is clear, non-greasy and non-staining.

Product Contains

Hydrocortisone USP 1%.

Dosage and Administration

Apply directly onto affected area(s) 2-3 times daily, or as directed by veterinarian. May also be effectively used following a bath (after towel drying).

Warnings, Side Effects and Drug Interactions

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Consult veterinarian if swelling, redness and irritation persist after seven (7) days of treatment.

Clinical and experimental data have demonstrated that corticosteroid administered orally or by injection to animals may induce serious adverse reactions. This product should not be used during pregnancy. People handling these medications should wear gloves to prevent exposure and toxic effects.
