The following adverse reactions have been seen on rare occasions in animals being treated with Cerenia for acute vomiting: diarrhea, blood in the feces, anorexia, ear disease, shock, blood in the urine, skin abrasions, death. The following have been observed in animals treated with Cerenia for motion sickness: salivation, vomiting, trembling, sedation/lethargy, retching, flatulence, loss of appetite, weight loss, soft stools or mucus in the feces. Overdosing of the medication increases the likelihood of these reactions, in addition to a decreased heart rate.
