Product ContainsAmlodipine besylate Dosage and AdministrationThe usual dosage of this medication is 0.625mg per cat once daily. Dose as directed by your veterinarian. Warnings, Side Effects and Drug InteractionsThis medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergies to it. Amlodipine may slow the heartrate, so care should be taken if using this medication in cats with heart failure. It should also be used with caution in cats with liver disease or a risk of developing low blood pressure. There is no data available on the use of amlodipine in pregnant queens. Side effects occasionally reported in association with this medication include a loss of appetite and low blood pressure. Weight loss, kidney disease, lethargy and an elevated heartrate may also occur infrequently. StorageStore at a controlled room temperature between 59-86°F (15-30°C). Keep container tightly closed.
