Product ContainsAmoxicillin / potassium clavulanate Dosage and AdministrationThe usual dosage of the animal-registered medication is 6.25mg/lb every 12 hours. Dose as directed by your veterinarian. Warnings, Side Effects and Drug InteractionsThis medication should not be used if the animals has a history of allergy to penicillins. This drug may cause a shock reaction in some animals. The most commonly observed side effect seen with this medication in animals are digestive upsets, such as diarrhea, vomiting and a loss of appetite. This medication has no been assessed for safety during pregnancy. It is not generally recommended to dose this medication in conjunction with bacteriostatic drugs, such as tetracyclines or erythromycin as these may reduce the effectiveness of amoxicillin/clavulanate. Dosing in conjunction with probenecid will increase the levels of this medication in the body. StorageStore at a controlled room temperature below 75°F (24°C). Keep container tightly closed.
