K9 Advantix is the only flea and tick protection you will ever need for your dog. K9 Advantix is lethal for a wide range of parasites: fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and biting flies. It starts to paralyse flea mouthparts, preventing them from biting within just 3-5 minutes of contact, then commences killing. It exterminates 98-100% of adult fleas on dogs within 12 hours of application, providing fast relief for your itchy pooch. Because it kills so quickly, it prevents female fleas from laying eggs, preventing a new generation of fleas from developing. It also kills larval stages of fleas in the environment. This triple activity on the flea life cycle helps to eradicate even the most stubborn flea problems.

K9 Advantix also repels and kills the four common types of ticks encountered by dogs in the US: Deer ticks, American dog ticks, Brown dog ticks, and Lone Star ticks. As these parasites can transmit many diseases to pets, by repelling or killing them rapidly, K9 Advantix also helps to protect your dog from transmission of tick-borne illnesses such as Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. It is also effective in repelling and killing mosquitoes and repelling and preventing blood-sucking by biting flies.

K9 Advantix keeps fighting these parasites for up to four weeks. It should be applied to a dry coat, however it remains effective even after bathing and swimming. It may be safely used in pups over 7 weeks of age. Better yet, it is so simple to use - just apply a few drops of the topical liquid onto the skin every four weeks and your dog is protected.

There is a K9 Advantix formulation to suit every size of dog. The color coded packs make it easy for you to select the correct size for your canine pal: Green for Small Dogs up to 10 lbs, Teal for Medium Dogs 11 - 20lbs, Red for Large Dogs 21 - 55lb and Blue for Extra Large Dogs over 55lbs. Directions for Use

• Remove one applicator tube from the package.
• Hold applicator tube in an upright position. Pull cap off tube.
• Turn the cap around and place other end of cap back on tube.
• Twist cap to break seal, then remove cap from tube.
• The dog should be standing for easy application.
• For dogs up to 20lbs the entire contents of the K9 Advantix tube should be applied in a single spot between the shoulder blades
• For dogs over 20lbs, the liquid should be distributed evenly to three or four spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail. Do not apply an excessive amount of solution at any one spot that could cause some of the solution to run off the side of the dog.
• To apply, part the hair until the skin is visible, then place the tip of the tube on the skin and gently squeeze to expel the solution on the skin.

Warnings and Side Effects

• For external use on dogs only.
• Do not use on animals other than dogs.
• Do not use on puppies under seven weeks of age.
• DO NOT USE ON CATS. Due to their unique physiology and inability to metabolize certain compounds, this product must not be used on cats. If applied to a cat, or ingested by a cat which actively grooms a recently treated dog, this product may have serious harmful effects. If this occurs contact your veterinarian immediately.
• This product is extremely toxic to fish. Do not add directly to water. Do not contaminate water when disposing of product or packaging.
