Soon after that, it commences its lethal action, killing 98-100% of adult fleas on dogs within 12 hours of application, This brings relief to itchy dogs fast and is an ideal treatment for dogs with Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). Female fleas on dogs are killed so quickly, that they are unable to lay eggs, preventing a new generation of fleas from developing. Advantage kills reinfesting fleas within 2 hours of attempting to hop onto your unsuspecting pet and continues to act for up to four weeks after application. It also kills larval stages of fleas in the environment within just 20 minutes of contact. Fleas don't stand a chance when your dog is treated with Advantage!

Regular monthly treatment with Advantage for Dogs is recommended for optimal flea control. It is best applied to a dry coat, however it remains effective even after shampooing, swimming or exposure to rain or sunlight. It may be safely used in pups over 7 weeks of age. And Advantage is so easy to use - a few drops of the liquid onto the skin every once a month is all you need to protect your canine pal from fleas. As fleas are the usual carriers of flea tapeworm, monthly treatment with Advantage also helps to keep your pooch tapeworm-free.

There is an Advantage formulation to suit every size of dog. The color coded packs make it easy for you to select the correct size for your canine pal: Green for Small Dogs up to 10 lbs, Teal for Medium Dogs 11 - 20lbs, Red for Large Dogs 21 - 55lb and Blue for Extra Large Dogs over 55lbs. All packs are available in either 4 month or 6 month supplies.

Directions for Use

• Remove one applicator tube from the package.
• Hold applicator tube in an upright position. Pull cap off tube.
• Turn the cap around and place other end of cap back on tube.
• Twist cap to break seal, then remove cap from tube.
• The dog should be standing for easy application.
• For dogs up to 20lbs the entire contents of the Advantage for Dogs tube should be applied in a single spot between the shoulder blades
• For dogs over 20lbs, the liquid should be distributed evenly to three or four spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail. Do not apply an excessive amount of solution at any one spot that could cause some of the solution to run off the side of the dog.
• To apply, part the hair until the skin is visible, then place the tip of the tube on the skin and gently squeeze to expel the solution onto the skin.

Warnings and Side Effects
