Information About Profender Allwormer for Cats

For a complete intestinal wormer for cats, without the fuss of oral dosing, use Profender Allwormer for Cats. Profender is highly effective in treating and controlling every common feline intestinal worm, and comes in an easy-to-apply formulation which you just drop on the skin at the back of the neck. Profender Allwormer kills immature, larval and mature stages of roundworms (Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina), hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme) and tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis) in cats.

With Profender, intestinal worms in cats don't stand a chance. This effective medication has a high safety margin and may be used in cats from 8 weeks of age and 0.5kg (1.1 lb) bodyweight. Profender is available in different color-coded pack sizes to make it easy for you to treat felines of all shapes and sizes accurately: blue for cats 2.5 - 5 kg (5.5 - 11 lbs) and red for cats 5 - 8 kg (11 - 17.6 lbs).

Directions for use:

Twist the cap and remove this from the tube. Press the underside of the cap onto the top of the tube to break seal. Part the cat’s fur on its neck, at the base of its head. Apply the contents of tube directly onto the exposed skin. Squeeze the tube several times to release all of the solution.

Treat kittens at 8 and 12 weeks of age, and thereafter repeat treatments at three-monthly intervals from then on, or as otherwise directed by your veterinarian. Female cats should be treated at mating, then before kittening, then every three months.

Warnings, Side Effects and Drug Interactions

Profender should not be given by mouth, nor should cats be allowed to lick the application site as this may result in temporary signs of distaste and occasional vomiting due to bitter taste of the product. Profender should only be applied to intact skin. Avoid contact with eyes. Treated felines should not be bathed until the solution has completely dried on the animal; shampooing or swimming immediately following application may reduce the efficacy of the product.
