Product Uses
Cephalexin is a human broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic, occasionally employed by veterinarians to treat bacterial infections in dogs and cats. This product is not licensed for use in animals, however there is no equivalent product currently registered with the FDA for use in animals.

Dosage and Administration
The usual dose employed by veterinarians is 10-15mg/lb every 8-12 hours orally in both cats and dogs. Please note that the suspension will require reconstitution and should be thoroughly mixed together and shaken before each use.
Warnings, Side Effects and Drug Interactions
Allergies are not uncommon to this type of medication. The most common sign of sensitivity to this type of medication is gastrointestinal upset - vomiting or diarrhea.
Should any signs of intolerance to cephalexin occur in your pet, discontinue therapy and contact your veterinarian for advice.
Storage
Store at a controlled room temperature between 59-86°F (15-30°C).
