Demadex Acaricidal Dog Wash is for the control of sarcoptic and demodectic mange as well as bush tick and paralysis tick on dogs. It is applied topically but also works through systemic absorption. Demadex Acaricidal contains Amitraz (50g/L) which is a known antiparasitic drug.

Mange are common canine skin infections caused by mites. And as you probably know by now, mites are mighty annoying pests. They cause skin irritation and inflammation on your dogs and can even be transferred to nearby humans. Demadex Acaricidal Dog Wash protects you and your pets from these harmful and pesky mites.

Demadex Acaricidal Dog Wash works even better if your canine pal has been shampooed with a product containing benzoyl peroxide prior to its application. Just be warned that Demadex Acaricidal Dog Wash may cause your dog to become drowsy after treatment. Make sure to not subject your pet to stress for at least 24 hours after treatment. Also avoid handling your pet right after treatment of Demadex Acaricidal Dog Wash (50mL).

Directions for use:

Dilution rates vary for different applications. For treatment of Demodex mites, dilute at a rate of 10mL per 1L water.

For Sarcoptes mite treatment and tick prevention, dilute at a rate of 5mL per 1L of water. Wearing gloves, mix Demadex Acaricidal Dog Wash thoroughly with water and apply to wet dog.

Allow dog’s coat to air-dry or blow-dry - do not towel dry. Repeat treatment weekly, or as directed by your veterinarian.

Storage:

Store at room temperature, below 30°C (86°F). Protect from light. Store in original closed container in a well-ventilated area.

Warnings, Side Effects and Drug Interactions:

Do not use same dog wash mixture for more than one animal. Do not rinse dog after treatment. Demadex Acaricidal Dog Wash should not be used on puppies below 4 months of age, dogs who are suffering from heat stress as well as on Chihuahuas. DO NOT USE ON CATS.
