Fasting prior to dosing is not necessary. Canex Cube may be offered before or after a meal, or mixed in food or dosed by hand. The cube may also be offered in pieces as it is highly palatable. Encourage the animal to chew the medication.
Recommended retreatment intervals: Puppies up to 12 weeks of age: Canex Cube may be safely used in puppies. Treat at at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks. Whipworms are not normally a problem in pups under 12 weeks, however flea tapeworms can be present as early as 4 weeks of age.
Dogs over 12 weeks of age: Treat every three months, or every six weeks in hydatid infested areas.
Pregnant females: Treat at mating, before whelping and then every three months.
