Monthly heartworm preventative in tablet form. Note that we now only ship Heartgard in tablet form. We no longer sell the chewable Heartgard Plus product, due to our concerns regarding the safety of shipping a product containing beef in an uncontrolled environment. Heartgard tablets will control heartworm infections acquired in the previous four months, provided monthly treatment is continued for at least 12 months.
Each tablet contains: IVERMECTIN
Directions for use: Give one tablet orally at monthly intervals for dogs weighing up to 25 lbs (11kg). Tablets can be crushed or wrapped in food to encourage consumption. Dogs should be closely observed for several minutes following administration to make sure that the entire dose has been consumed.
