Dog Ice Cream, Anyone?

The newest treat for dogs in Vienna, Austria is the 'Dogissimo' – an ice cream concoction formulated specifically for dogs. Vienna has a long love affair with dogs and many of its buildings and establishments are dog-friendly. The Viennese commonly take their dogs along with them when going about their daily chores and they pamper their dogs with treats when they've spent a fair amount of time taking their dogs to each of their chores. Dogissimo comes in three flavors: rice, vanilla-rice and soy, has no artificial flavorings, colorings or additives so that it is completely safe, nutritious and tasty for the dogs. The Austrian capital has been experiencing higher than usual temperatures during its summers and the frozen treats come in handy for dogs who are experiencing some form of heat stress. Young dog owners welcome the frozen dessert, thinking of it as another means to bring dog and owner closer together.

This is a treat indeed! I sometimes let my dog lick my ice cream and I can tell she likes it. I hope they come out with other flavors as well coz rice doesn't really sound ice creamy.
