ivermectin!
I have been using Ivermectin from PetShed.com for my dogs for about 5 or 6 years. It's the same Rx quality and much more economical than purchasing thru a pharmacy or vet. I like that it does NOT contain other meds.

Just Buy It!
I work at an animal shelter and every time a dog tests positive for heart worms our hearts sink. The treatment is crazy expensive. Close to $1,000 for large dogs. Please folks buy the heart worm prevention and give it to your dog EVERY month. The fact you can treat your dog for a year for 1/2 the price of non generic really doesn't seem to be much of a decision. Just do it! It works. My dogs have been treated with Nuheart for 6 years now and are heart worm free. We go to the dog part every night and yes there are many mosquitoes there.
Heart worm prevention
I always buy my dogs heartworm prevention medication from Petshed. Their prices can't be beat and it's so easy to order. Best of all you don't need a rx. It's hard for some people who cannot afford the heartworm test each and every time they need to buy the heartworm prevention meds. The Vets charge you for the visit, the test and then the meds and you end up leaving there paying $200. That's ridiculous when you already know your dog is HW- why should you subject the dog to an unneeded test and spend loads of money. Also you don't have to pay the name brand prices which is awesome! I have purchased from Petshed for years and will continue to do so. I have also sent many friends to their site and they all love it. Keep up the great work Petshed. I have used both Heartgard Plus and the generic. Both work fabulously on my two babies. They are 10 and 8 years old and have never had heartworms!!! I say that is a true testimony of how great these products are.

I have been using the Nuheart generic Heartgard for 5 years and it works at a great savings over buying from the vet. My vet insisted on doing a bloodtest last week and it was negative for heartworm. I will continue to buy this product, saving me a lot of money. I rate 5 stars!!!!
