Have used the nuheart brand for many, many years on two of my dogs (my Aussie is now deceased). They always tested negative for heartworms. Great product, eventhough my little dog does not like to take pills. Using the Heartguard Plus on two shelter dogs I adopted that are heartworm positive. They love this stuff...very much a treat to them! It's just so much cheaper through Pet Shed than buying from a vet.

I have been using generic heartgard for many years. This is the same medication that my vet charges twice as much for.
