Bravecto is the first oral chew to provide up to 12 weeks of protection against fleas and ticks. One chew provides broad-spectrum and long-lasting protection that starts to kill fleas within 2 hours and controls 4 tick species (black-legged tick, American dog tick, brown dog tick, and lone star tick). Bravecto eliminates current flea infestations and prevents new ones from developing for 12 weeks. With one chew, Bravecto is easier to give and less to worry about for you!
How Bravecto Chewable for Dogs works
After giving your dog Bravecto, the medication quickly reaches tissue fluids under your dog's skin. When fleas and ticks feed on your dog, they ingest Bravecto and die. Bravecto kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis), and the treatment and control of tick infestations [Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick)] for 12 weeks in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater. Bravecto is also indicated for the treatment and control of Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick) infestations for 8 weeks in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater.

How can Bravecto be administered to dogs?
Bravecto should be administered orally as a single dose every 12 weeks according to the Dosage Schedule below to provide a minimum dose of 11.4 mg/lb (25 mg/kg) body weight. Administration may be given every 8 weeks in case of potential exposure to Amblyomma americanum ticks. Bravecto should be administered with food.

What are the precautions when using Bravecto Chewable for Dogs?
Fluralaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.
Bravecto has not been shown to be effective for 12-weeks duration in puppies less than 6 months of age. Bravecto is not effective against Amblyomma americanum ticks beyond 8 weeks after dosing.

BRAVECTO is a great product!
My older dog was walking crooked and seemed miserable. I took her to the vets, but the vet thought that it was her ears. So I spent a large amount of money having her ears cleaned including sedating her $286.00. Well it didn't fix the problem at all. Eventually, I figured out that my dog gets a flea allergy in the winter time. BRAVECTO is the only thing that works. Here in California, it costs alot more at the local vets, so I'm glad I found Pet Shed. They do charge around $10.00 for shipping though, but worth it.
This is the only thing that works
My dog was suffering from allergies, but I didn't realize that fleas were the problem because I never saw any on her, even though she's all white. My poor baby was even walking crooked and so I took her to the vets. The vet thought it was her ears and charged me $260. To clean her ears while sedating her. This did not fix the problem. I tried Frontline for flea and ticks, but it also did not work. Then I went to a different veterinary clinic and the receptionist told me that I should try BRAVECTO. Well, to my great surprise....IT WORKED. It did take a few weeks, maybe three to completely work, but thank God my dog is comfortable again.
Do your dogs eat the chew, easily?
I'd like to buy the pill form of this, however this says the product is in a chew form. Do dogs eat it easily or do I need to keep looking for someone who sells the pill version?
Never going back!
Living in FL where fleas can easily get out of control, this was my last resort. My female was so bad, she had hair missing all over her back. Within an hour of giving them the Bravecto, the itching had stopped. This is the ONLY product I've found that actually works. We have property in another state that is infested with ticks. 1st time we took the dogs, they had over a dozen ticks when we came home - each! Took them again after treating with Bravecto, and out of 3 dogs, we found 1 tick. I will never go back to using any other product.
BEST FLEA AN TICK PREVENTION EVER!
I purchased my little bundle of joy 2 yrs ago from a adoption center. And no matter what brand of flea control I used, it just didn't work very well on her. I was so frustrated and at my wits end, until I saw an advertisement on TV for Bravado. I thought oh well, I might as well give this one a try too! Boy oh boy, was God smiling down on me the day I gave her the first pill. It's been over a year now, and absolutely no fleas what so ever, and not even in the house! Thank heaven for Bravecto! NOTHING else has worked for us living in the country in Texas with TONS of fleas everywhere and no scheduled spraying. We tried everything and nothing worked until Bravecto! It is amazing!

Works that's the main thing could not get the liquid spot on stuff to work very well at all. Been using this product for 2 yrs with out any problem.

Bravecto is amazing. I only have to treat my 5 dogs once a year for fleas. I live in Louisiana and have lots of squirrels which equals fleas.
excellent buy
I did a bit of research before buying this product because sometimes cheaper isn't always better, but this product is excellent. 3 months protection, no side effects, and an excellent alternative to monthly dosing. The fact that is much cheaper is a nice side benefit.
Best flea product ever!!!!
I live in Florida where fleas are a huge problem year round. Every topical product I have tried over the last 10 years stopped working. I got to the point were I was manually checking all my dogs and pulling fleas off daily, what a chore. I decided to try Bravecto so I bought one extra large pill and split it between 10 under 10 pound dogs (Yorkies and Maltese) on December 18th 2015 and as of the writing of this review have not seen a flea since!!! I also bought an extra large pill and gave it to our 130 pound Mastiff. She lives outside and has not had any signs of fleas for almost a year. All my dogs loved the taste and ate the chewable like a treat. I will definitely be purchasing Bravecto again at the first sign of fleas.
