H there ch4phew, welcome to Pet Shed!
Your saint really has a weird habit.... Why don't you try to use collars, muzzles or similar stuff? These might help train your dog not to kill your chickens. |

| Yes, re-training your dog to show no aggressive behavior to chickens may help. |

| i believe that the suggestions of Angela and Amelia are very sound. try them on your dog and see how they'll work. you could also try consulting a vet so you'll know what's causing the aggression. |

| Just keep your saint and those chickens away from each other. Set up a fence between them or when you let your dog out, make sure he's on a leash. |

| I agree with Terrence. It's the simplest solution. Just keep those two apart. |

That makes sense. Just make sure your dog is on a leash so it won't harm your chickens. Or if possible, train it to not act violently infront of your chickens.
As for your chickens, why don't you just place them in a fence or cage or something to keep it away from your pooch? Why do you keep them within your dog's reach in the first place? |

| I suggest you have your dog checked by a vet. It may have some kind of behavioral or psychological problem which only a licensed vet can diagnose. Simply putting it on a leash will not resolve any underlying problem which may be the cause of its unruly behavior. |
