On the first day of creation, God created the cat....
On the second day, God created man to serve the cat....
On the third day, God created all the animals of the earth to serve as
potential food for the cat....
On the fourth day, God created honest toil so that man could labor
for the good of the cat....
On the fifth day, God created the sparkle ball so that the cat might
or might not play with it....
On the sixth day, God created veterinary science to keep the cat
healthy and the man broke....
On the seventh day, God tried to rest, but He had to scoop the litterbox....
Yes, it's a cat's world after all. Amen!
LOL. if cats could read, this woulda made them feel good about themselves.

| are cats really like this? aren't they a lot of work to have? if they're really like this i'd stick to being a dog person. |

| Some cats can be very snobbish unlike dogs who seem to be genuinely interested of people and much friendlier too. i prefer dogs. for me, dogs have more practical purpose. they're not called man's best friends for nothing. |

i think cats are best described by this quote:
| Quote: |
| "It is a matter to gain the affection of a cat. He is a philosophical animal, tenacious of his own habits, fond of order and neatness, and disinclined to extravagant sentiment. He will be your friend, if he finds you worthy of friendship, but not your slave." - Theophile Gautier |
agree? very! |

I agree. You cannot force a cat to like you. Most wouldn't even want to be held or petted even if they can sense you have good intentions, like helping clean them up or getting fleas out. If they don't like you, that's it. There's no use forcing them. |

| That's a very profound description of a cat, Michelle; and I completely agree with it! Cats are very mysterious creatures indeed. |
