| my mom's dog have this habit of watchin the evening news, he wud be at his mat by the fire place once i turn the tv on for the news, i'm wondering though what's his stand on social issues, i don't think he's annoyed by commercials as i am..hahaha! |

| that's an amazing dog your mom has, my brothers labrador also likes tv, no the dog does'nt watch tv, but always mistook the tv remote for a bone, dog carries tv remote 'round the house which oftentimes get lost. my bro would to buy a new one each time.. |

My Labrador doesn't watch as much tv as your mom's dog but he loves to lie down in front of it while I watch.
I guess it's his way of telling me that there's nothing good on tv and that he's more interesting than all those shows.

It's ok to let your pets watch the tube as long as you provide them "parental guidance".  |

maybe it's the other way around. your pet watches teevee with you so he can give you "dog guidance."  |

parental guidance - that's funny!
i watch tv with my cats all the time! we also check the web together, i mean, they also stay beside me when i check my email and even when i write my posts here on pet shed. maybe, they're just curious of what i might say about them!  |
