Our Brittany Spanial is constanty stressed out. He can't relax unless he is sitting right next to someone. It is very frustrating to see that he can't calm down. He is going on 3yrs old and any amount of exercise doesn't seem to have any affect. I see the Tryptophan is marketed at a calming agent for Canines. Does anyone have any experience with it? And can I just purchase and use over the counter L-Tryptophan in capsule form?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
