Top Ten Signs You Spoil Your Dog:

1. You think begging for table scraps is beneath him, so you let your dog eat at the table with you.

2. You take him to the supermarket and let him pick out his own dog food.

3. Your husband comes home from work, looks at the stew on the stove and asks: "Is this people food or dog food?"

4. You bought matching His & Hers place mats for your dog and yourself.

5. At dinner parties you always have to double-check the butter for visible lick marks, before putting it on the table.

6. Your dog gets to vote on where to spend the next family vacation.

7. You don't care if you or your spouse are comfortable at night, as long as Fido has enough room on the bed.

8. You complain about the rising costs of groceries, but you don't think twice about spending a fortune on doggie treats.

9. Your dog always gets the best spot on the couch and sometimes he even gets to hold the remote.

10. He has his own e-mail address.

Very Happy

LOL! I've seen some people who let their dogs eat with them on the table. I'd say that's spoiling them too much.

That's a good one. Very Happy I was in the bookstore the other day and came upon a couple of recipe books for dogs. I guess more and more people are cooking for their dogs. That's nice, really.

This is true for me. I always consider my dogs whenever I make travel plans. Who wouldn't right? Every responsible dog lover does that I'm sure.

There are restaurants now that also have dog food on their menu. And they let your dogs eat at the same table as you. I think that's nice.

That husky is a bit scary. I wonder if the kid at the background was frightened. But I have to admit, he's cute.

i've a cousin who wouldn't take a vacation in a place or resort that isn't dog-friendly because he won't be able to bring his pet with him.

Restaurants are getting weirder don't you think? Thinking up of all these weird marketing gimmicks.

well, yes, i agree that some restaurants are really overdoing it just to get customers. but there are also some restaurants and places that are really making the effort to be pet-friendly.

I do hope that restaurants start welcoming pets into their doors. Maybe pet owners who want to dine with their pets should have their own section or private rooms so that other patrons won't be disturbed. I really think this is a good idea. Idea
