Yo!..pets are more playful when they are younger. Kittens and pups are easily provoked by just about anythin and then they go horsin', playin, and jumpin in about 10 directions at the same time. As they get older, they tend to be less agile except for those who were trained to become, well, "professional players"...  |

| you're right pal, how i wish my pet parrot is young again..when he was younger he'd hop around the cage every now and then, but now that he's older, he'll simply stare at me and we'd just be staring at each other in the next couple of minutes. maybe im just getting older too lol |

| training pets for sports is not unlike teaching them tricks, it would involve a lot of dedication on the part of the owner coz as it appears animals have their own way of engaging themselves in games.. |

| Yes, pups are understandably more playful than adult dogs. But even the older ones can be very playful, too. |

| well, maybe it depends on the dog. mine isn't that young anymore but he's still as playful. the toys i bought him are still well used. |

exactly. i play with my Lab Charlie whenever i have time and i think he really loves it! |

Yes, conditioning our pets to play more can help them health-wise. It will make them stronger and more fit even when they grow old. |
