| I just got this mixed breed female Pomeranian-Japanese Spitz. She's very cute, mild mannered but untrained. She's the first pet I've had for a very long time, i've been without a pet since college. I can't walk her without a leash, she's got this tendency to roam, so she's inside the house most of the time. i'm beginning to like her company, she's always near me when i'm at home. she likes sleeping at my feet when i'm watching tv. |

| I've never had a reptile as a pet. Do share your experiences, Eleni, if ever you get one. That would surely be interesting. |

cute akita! i want one!
i might get a malamute this year. it looks just like a siberian husky. actually, malamutes are often mistaken as huskies. here's a comparison:
that's the siberian husky at the top and just beneath is the alaskan malamute. can you spot the difference? |

| i suggest that your next pet must be one that could really fit in with those that you already have. next, make sure that you would be able to care for the additional pet. |

boy oh boy! it's really hard to tell them apart. i would like to hazard a guess, too: i think the siberian husky has a longer body. |

| Guys, what do you think of people having snakes for a pet? I don't think it's safe. They're not meant to be pets and should be left alone in the wild. |

| hey guys, instead of getting new pets why not just adopt one from your local shelter? there are a lot of homeless animals out there that are just waiting to belong to loving owners. |

| Good suggestion, Susie. I agree with you completely. There are a multitude of homeless animals out there that need more than just shelter. If you really want to show your love for animals, this is best way to do so. If you have a lot of love to give, give it to someone who needs it most. A pet shelter can only give so much. |

Edith, dogs are the most common pets around because they are low-maintenance. I suggest you get one for yourself and gain yourself a loyal-to-the-end friend |
