Question I'm not really sure if I should post the topic here, but it's health-related right? Anyway, do you guys mix wet dogfood from can with dry kibbles? coz sometimes my little pooches are picky eaters. they won't eat the kibbles alone unless i mix it with some soup, gravy, or wet dog food. What do you guys do? Question

my grandmama adds only a lil hot h20 on her dog's food because she says the aroma will attract him.

what we do at home is mix those frozen vegetables with our golden retriever's food. ofcourse we cook em up first and then we mix it with dry kibble. works for us.

My little angels are picky eaters. I mix up wet and dry kibble, too. I just make sure that the serving size for dry dog food is less than the required one because there's canned food mixed with it. As long as it is portion controlled, i don't think there's anything wrong with it, right? And if it makes them eat and be less picky, then i'm all for mixing. Very Happy

i also do the same thing. you can't really expect them to eat the same thing over and over again. there should be some variety to their food. my dog especially is very choosy when it comes to food. sometimes she just prefers dry kibbles while other days, she wants dry food mixed with wet food. i just make sure that i only add about a teaspoon or two of wet dog food coz my dog doesn't like it when her food gets too soggy.

There are so many people sayin that it's not good to mix but I think otherwise. What would you rather have? A dog who does not eat kibbles at all or a dog who loves to eat? For me, as long as the dog eats and there's no harm bein done to his stomach, it's all good.

is there a chance of chemical interactions when food is mixed? sometimes i wonder if i should mix foods because one food might have this much vitamin and the next food has this much of the same vitamin and i just might be exceeding the proper amount my dog should have of the vitamin.
