Received this info from a friend.A woman from Georgia who drives I85 everyday to work has been passing by the body of a white dog that had been hit, beside it was what seemed like black trash bag. Only it turned out it was a black female lab protecting her 'friend'. A couple, Linda and Ron Lefevre, volunteered to check on the dog and take it to the vet. But the lab won't leave. They had to actually put her friend in the car in order to get her in. The couple took it to Oakley Animal Hospital. She was not injured but seemed traumatized. They're asking if anyone is willing to take in this lab even if temporarily while they're trying to locate the owner since they can't leave it in the hospital indefinitely. Do you know anyone who lost a black female lab or willing to take it in? I think the volunteer group is Georgia Heartland Humane Society.

Wow, this is just further proof of how loyal dogs are. I hope you find the owner immediately.

The part where that black lab wouldn't leave her friend sure is such a sweet thing.
