| losing a pet can be just as painful as losing a special someone or a next of kin. but, how do we keep the good memories of our pets alive? pet cremation or pet preservation? |

| for me pet preservation reduces the sanctity of your departed pet, it makes your doggy or kitty just another stuff in the house. |

| a video and a photograph of my pet is all that I need to remember her by. and I definitely don't want my pet preserved. |

| yeah! a video and photograph surely helps. i also keep an old favorite toy. but what really makes me remember is being with the puppy my pet had. |

what's more important are the memories and the good times you two shared when your pet was still alive.
i think cremation is overly dramatic and preservation "cheapens" your pet. with that said, i think i'd just settle with burying my departed pet. |

I keep photos of my pet in an album, and I even have some digital copies in my desktop and mobile phone, which serves to remind me of my pet wherever I go. I usually look at our photos together 'coz they remind me of our happy and fun memories.
Pet cremation and pet preservation are just not my thing, and I don't intend to resort to any of these things - I think they're just too creepy.

| yeah, photographs are a sure way to keep the memories of our pets alive, but i suggest black and white photos for departed pets, black and white ones just make the memory twice sweeter.. |

| I share your sentiments; I do not want my pet preserved or cremated, too. A photo and some of its toys or possessions will do just fine. |

| i keep a scrapbook for my pets. most of the pictures have little notes saying when the picture was taken, what we were doing. this will be enough to keep my pets alive in my memory. |

| personally i don't believe in dog cloning. i don't need to revive a dead pet just to feel better. my memories of my pet are enough to remember him by. |

pet cloning won't necessarily "revive" your pet. the thing with pet cloning is that only the pet's looks remain the same. the personality will be different. so it's just like your pet, but not really. does that make sense? |

| Makes sense susie. pet cloning is like an insult to your departed pet...i'd rather let my pet rest in peace than resort to this. |

A clone of my pet is not my pet -- if you know what I mean. Nothing can replace a dear departed friend |
