i've posted this in another thread in petshed.
"a dog named Trouble inherited $12 million from its owner, late American billionaire Leona Helmsley. later, a judge reduced the amount to $2 million and the $10 million went to charitable institutions."

this got me thinking. if you were this rich, would you also leave your pet $12 million? Smile

i think that amount is too big. i'd just leave my pet enough for it to live comfortably then i'd make sure that i'd leave my pet to someone who'd really care for it.

No, because I know that opportunists will take advantage of the situation and leave my pet in the dirt. I'll just leave my pet something in kind or I'll leave the money to its guardian -- someone I really trust.

i don't think a pet would need that much so, no i won't. maybe i could leave some of that money to an animal shelter after i've provided enough for my pet.

This is a great idea, Megan. I support you 100% on this. Animal shelters need all the help they can get.
