My friend takes his beagle on a hike. They would go together on a camping trip and walk for hours and hours. His dog loves that and always look forward to it. Very Happy

If you're not a natural or experienced hiker, don't push yourself too hard. Don't go out alone and don't go too far especially if you have a dog with you. Accidents easily happen to those who have no experience.

Sweetie, don't take your dog to the mountains unless of course it's a trained dog. Sorry but I'm just afraid that your dog might get hurt through an accident or something.

Keith, don't you pay Petmieister any attention. If you're planning to join your friend, do so. I did that once and it was very exhilarating although all we did was walk. The sights, it's the sights that will get to you. Smile
