hey! read this in petshed blog: "But dogs are not the only creatures that should be wary of fleas. In fact these parasites are even more dangerous for humans; they are so fatal that fleas have been used as weapons in biological warfare."
i find this so outrageous! |

| It is sickening to think that such parasites can be used as weapons. I really hope that they find some other productive use for fleas instead of this. |

what are humans thinking about? sometimes i think some of us are moving backwards instead of going forward, and getting weirder and weirder. fleas are already harmful on their own, why don't we just let them be! using them for biological warfare is just so wrong.

regarding biological weapons, here's a trivia:
In medieval times, a primitive form of biological warfare was used, called trebuchet. A catapult would fling a dead, rotting animal carcass into enemy territory, spreading disease. |

| I always thought the term "flea circus" was merely an expression or a form of figurative speech. Do you mean to say that there really were flea circuses? That they really existed? |

There really are flea circuses, the type that use real fleas. But there are also those that use illusion as if it were the fleas who do the actual performing.
For example, a flea will be attached to a cart and the cart will move by itself, mechanically. The attached flea would then appear as if it was pulling it. |
