| 3 days My vet gave me worm medication for my 3 week old cocker spaniel puppies. I gave them the pills and within hours they were all showing signs of toxic overdose, ataxia, trembling, sleepy, mydriasis ect... My vet has never seen this and gave me only what the instructions on the box said (0-10 lb) he administered saline to wash them out but as of day 3 they are still showing partial symtoms, unsteady gait, shaky and sleepy. I cannot find anywhere how long it takes for small pups to overcome this, or is this something that has affected them long term due to their age? My Vet does not know has anyone ever experienced this? thanks |
