It's a "teddy dog"! I think it's hilarious! I don't dress up my dog, at least not with goofy costumes... |

| i once had my dog dress up in a costume. it was for my nieces and nephews who were all in halloween costumes. my lab didn't mind but i think she was happier playing with the kids than dressing up. |

| That's just it. We dress up dogs for the benefit of others but not themselves. I wish dogs could show us what they really wanted to wear. |

OH NO! I won't dress my dog in these silly costumes that are just way over the top! These are just so degrading. A simple, cute costume will be okay.
Sadly, I think most people dress up dogs for the sole purpose of entertaining themselves, but not to make their pets happy.

I agree. Simple dog clothes are okay as long as they are worn primarily to provide pet comfort and protection. The thought of making them look good and a bit funny sometimes, should just be a plus. |

How do we know if a dog is really comfortable with its clothes? |

| hey doug, how do we know? i guess when the clothes are comfy to wear, like if they are made of soft or cotton material and don't have those unnecessary bling-blings which may tend to be weighty sometimes. |

| Haha I agree. The clothes should easily fit the dog. Just the right size for the particular size of a dog breed. |

Haha I guess we just have to observe how our dogs behave with such clothes. if they can still walk or run fast with those garments on, then perhaps they're comfortable with them. Well, this is just a thought. What do you think? |
